WHAT MAKES US PUSH FORWARD

We believe that the future of computing is at the extreme edge, where data is generated and consumed. Smart poles are the ideal platform for edge computing being they provide connectivity, power, and security for various IoT applications. By combining edge computing and smart poles, Acumen Intelligent Infrastructure creates smarter, safer, and more cost-effective solutions resulting in more sustainable cities. Our combined sixty-years of experience shows we are driven by a passion for innovation and our commitment to excellence. We are always looking for new ways to improve our products and services, and to meet the needs of our customers and partners. Aii will always continue to push forward the edge of computing.

Aii is an IIEZ (Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zone) Partner with the

Autonomy Institute is a cooperative research consortium focused on advancing digital infrastructure, autonomy, and AI at the edge. Autonomy Institute aligns government, industry, academia, and the public to create the policies, industry, jobs, and community benefits of autonomy.

The Autonomy Institute is a 501c3 consortium of over 200 industry, government, and academia organizations.  The Autonomy Institute is focused on accelerating the “Path to Commerce” for Intelligent Infrastructure and autonomous systems to foster social and economic transformation in cities.  The Autonomy Institute collaborates with large infrastructure investors on the creation of $100 million Public-Private Partnership programs.  The Intelligent Infrastructure enables the rapid and expansive deployment of rural broadband, NextG, edge computing, Intelligent transportation systems, APNT, and smart grid devices.  This infrastructure has substantial benefits to cities by eliminating the digital devide and preparing communities for Industry 4.0 solutions.  The national deployment of this infrastructure will creat millions of new jobs and generate billions in economic growth.

“Investment in a 21st-century Intelligent & Autonomous Infrastructure is among the highest priorities for stimulating economic expansion, national security, and job growth. Edge computing, NextG wireless, Intelligent Transportation Systems, precise APNT, and resilient electrical grids will drive the largest infrastructure buildout in our nation’s history.” The Intelligent and Autonomous Infrastructure is the equivalent of the Eisenhower Interstate Highways.   It will drive a massive resurgence of manufacturing, engineering, construction, installation, programming, and jobs of the future.

The bridging of the physical and the digital requires leadership to assure it meets community needs. There is a tsunami of technology coming to cities that will be densely deployed on the sidewalk. That’s where the Public-Private Partnership (P3) comes in to deploy Public Infrastructure Network Nodes (PINN). The PINN is as critical to a city as roads, power, telecommunications, and water infrastructure. A unified infrastructure supporting Integrated city services, autonomous systems, commercial use cases beneficial to the community, and national security and privacy. This infrastructure will create Highways and Byways in order to support more efficient mobility, automated city services, autonomous cars and trucks, autonomous shuttles, air taxis, inspection drones, and many intelligent city applications.
